n our country the origin of activities of quarrying and transformation of stone materials is ancient.The geological construction of territory of Trani and of the Murgia is characterized by sedimentary material; this activity has given to the stone an important role since the Iron Age when the first quarries appeared.
Most of our marbles (Perlato Svevo, Serpeggiante, Perlatino, Bellavista, Belmonte, Bronzetto, Biancone di Trani, Cioccolato) are extracted in two quarry deposits of Ruvo di Puglia and Trani.
Stones quarried are compact and strong, suitable to the civil contemporary construction industry and and in decorative architecture, covering and paving.
